  • BIKE VAULT is manufactured simply as a body and door and is supplied fully assembled and complete.

    Simply bolt down to hard standing with the fixings provided.

  • BIKE VAULT comes in two variants: Original, designed for up to one bike, and Extra designed for up to two bikes (sometimes just one large bike that’s longer and with wide bars).

  • BIKE VAULT features double security. The door hasps are made of protected stainless steel tabs, drilled to accept padlocks. Internally it is designed so that a ground anchor can be installed to accept a D Lock or chain for additional security.

  • BIKE VAULT is weatherproof so your bike is kept clean and dry and there's space to store your helmet and other bike kit safely with your bike.

  • BIKE VAULT's attractive design means it will look good anywhere. At the front of your property where it is most convenient for storing your bike. No need to carry your (possibly muddy and wet) bike around, or worse still, through your house.

About Bike Vault

The need for (and lack of) secure bicycle storage was the original inspiration for Bike Vault Limited back in 2009.

Neil Robins and Simon Harrison saw the problem, looked at what was on offer at that time, and designed the solution from the ground up.

Bike Vault had to be secure primarily, but also had to be affordable and simple to install. The fact that Bike Vault is also good looking is a bonus.!

Bike Vault was originally designed to be for one bike and one rider’s kit.

Across the years it became clear that bikes were getting bigger, and also lots of customers wanted to store more than one bike.

In 2017 through a simple length extension of what is now the Bike Vault Original, the Bike Vault Extra was born.

By 2024 a lot has changed. There are more bikes; they cost more money and they need more and better security than ever..

And Bike Vault is still the solution - Secure, Affordable Bike Storage.

  • Is BIKE VAULT manufactured in the UK?

    The body is manufactured and assembled in Greater Manchester, the metal fabrication comes from the South of England!

  • Do I need the BIKE VAULT accessories?

    No. BIKE VAULT is secure in its own right. The ground anchor and chain enhance your bike's security by offering a second line of defence. They may also help you comply with your bike insurance policy.

  • How many bikes can I fit in a BIKE VAULT?

    Original is for up to just one bike; Extra is for up to two bikes. Long bikes with wide handlebars may only fit in an Extra. Please contact us if in any doubt about sizing.

  • What is LDPE?

    Low density polyethylene is a hydrocarbon plastic. Its properties are that it is: lightweight; flexible; impact resistant; easily cleaned; chemical and corrosion resistant. The LDPE used in BIKE VAULT is UV treated and will not fade or become brittle. LDPE is 100% recyclable.

  • How sustainable is BIKE VAULT?

    BIKE VAULT is made from at least 80% recycled materials and can be 100%. The coloured doors are made from new material; if you choose the Black door option then that is made from recycled materials.

    The recycled material is actually reprocessed scrap LDPE from other products. It is 100% identical to new LDPE except it has to be coloured black.

  • Is BIKE VAULT easy to install?

    BIKE VAULT is delivered fully assembled so that’s one less job than most bike lockers.!

    BIKE VAULT simply needs bolting down to hard standing with the fixings provided. Basic DIY tools and skills are all that is required.

  • Does BIKE VAULT require maintenance?

    No. BIKE VAULT doesn’t need painting. The metal work inside is powder coated. The locks may require periodic lubrication.
